Rob Perkins has finally made the decision to retire after 20 years as a fixture in the land agency department. He has been indispensable in all manner of property over the years, providing reliable support for Chris Hyde, Rod Perons, and Richard Knight's teams.

Previously, Rob managed a tyre fitters in Maesteg until he decided to retire at the age of 50. However, he quickly realised that retirement at such an early age was not for him. Having spoken with Cooke & Arkwright’s Roger Thomas he was convinced to take a role in the Land Agency department as a general Property Manager. Always a practical person with a love of the outdoors, Rob took to the job like a duck to water and quickly made himself an integral part of the team.

Rob was rarely without a smile and had an infectious laugh as well as a penchant for terrible jokes that will be missed around the office.

Rob is a genuine, all-around nice guy and such a positive influence on everyone around him. He will be greatly missed here at Cooke & Arkwright. We wish him all the best in his retirement and hope he fills his days being outside and playing with his grandchildren.

Cardiff Waterside is a significant property holding for Aviva Investors at almost 500,000 sq ft. Our experiences show the benefit of working with a regional specialist where occupational markets can be unlocked with a good team with excellent local contacts. Ben Bolton and his team have done this for us for many years and been fundamental to our success and a very low void rate in Cardiff.
