Committed to improving local communities across Wales

We are committed to conducting all our business in an ethical and socially responsible manner. As a Welsh employer we recognise that the majority of our business is drawn from the communities in which we operate and our dedicated staff work hard to ‘give back’.

Our Community

Our Social Committee proactively encourages staff to take part in all sorts of fundraising events. Over recent years we have run marathons, baked cakes, climbed mountains from Kilimanjaro to Pen Y Fan, and cycled around Wales to raise money for local charities including Wales Air Ambulance, Tenovus, Ty Hafan and Cancer Support.

We have also supported the Sherman Theatre’s Peter Pan appeal enabling children across South Wales to attend the annual Christmas pantomime.

LATCH Our Chosen Charity

We support LATCH, the Welsh Children’s Cancer Charity

LATCH is a fantastic charity supporting the children receiving treatment for cancer at the Children’s Hospital for Wales. The catchment area stretches from Chepstow in the South to Aberystwyth in the North. This charity also supports their families by providing on-site family accommodation at the Children’s Hospital whilst the child receives their treatment. They provide a social work service, financial support through grants, emotional support for parents and siblings, benefits advice and free car parking permits and passes to the hospital sports centre. The charity also works tirelessly to keep the children’s spirits up by arranging day trips, children’s entertainers and frequently stocked toys.

The money we raise is put to good use in purchasing Christmas presents, Play Stations and iPads for the LATCH wing.

    • Ten climbs; 24 hours; 1 cause! Our intrepid surveyors climbed Pen y Fan ten times as part of a relay team in thick fog, heavy drizzle and cold winds - even though it was July and two days before a mini heatwave! To-date around £470 has been raised on our Just Giving page

  • Cardiff Bake Sale Summer 2016
