Milford Haven, the UK’s largest energy port has seen a 50% increase in throughput of LNG gas following the Russian-Ukraine war, as Europe seeks alternative fuel sources.

This increase has fuelled plans to reinstate a redundant fuel jetty on the northern bank, and further potential expansion in the future to accommodate this growth.

When coupled with the Pembroke Dock Marine collaboration between the Port of Milford Haven, ORE Catapult, Marine Energy Wales and Celtic Sea Power which plans to create a world-class hub for marine energy and engineering, Milford Haven is likely to keep expanding generating significant opportunities for both the local area and further afield.

The disposal of 120,000 square feet on the Heads of the Valleys Industrial Estate was a particularly satisfying task. The building had been rebuilt following fire damage, and Jeremy Symons and his team were successful in identifying a nearby purchaser looking to expand. The sale price, at £4,000,000, represented a record sale price for a property of this nature in the area, and with great tenacity and endeavour was completed in a timely fashion. An excellent result.
