Property details
Caeau Ty Mawr comprises 19.50 hectares (48 acres) of conservation grazing land forming part of the Llangorse Lake Site of Special Scientific Iinterest (SSSI) and Llangorse Special Area of Conservation (SAC). Due to the sensitive nature of the flora at Caeau Ty Mawr, the land will be subject to a management plan to regulate stocking density and grazing times during the year. The BBNPA will work with the successful applicant to ensure they are able to comply with the controls throughout the term. Grazing will be limited to 12 head of small, preferably native breed beef cattle for six months of each year. It should be noted that rent is not the primary influence in determining the right tenant for the land.
The specification includes;
- Wildflower-rich grazing of unimproved natural grassland on the western shore of Llangorse Lake.
- Conservation Grazing Land subject to a Management Plan.
