About Abby

Abby joined Cooke & Arkwright in 2020, initially completing work experience after finishing sixth form during the Covid period. After four months, she was offered a permanent role in the Finance team and has been a valued member ever since. Alongside her role, Abby is currently studying for her AAT qualification, with the support of Cooke & Arkwright.

Experience

In her role supporting the smooth running of the finance function, Abby works closely with the Property Management team. Her responsibilities include processing invoices and payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with reconciliations and reporting. She works closely with both internal teams and external suppliers, contributing to effective collaboration and ensuring financial processes operate efficiently.

In addition to her core role, Abby is an active member of the Cooke & Arkwright Social Committee, where she enjoys organising staff events and team treats, helping to bring people together and strengthen team spirit across the business. 

Interests

Outside of work, Abby plays cricket for her local club and also serves as the Women and Girls Coordinator, supporting the development of the sport at grassroots level. She enjoys sewing in her spare time and is a keen rugby fan.
