Situation
The Hafod Land is set in a secluded location surrounded by forestry, close to the River Ystwyth, and is surrounded by the Grade I Listed Historic Landscape of the Hafod Estate.

The village of Cwmystwyth lies around a mile to the North East as the crow flies, whilst livestock markets are at Aberystwyth, 13 miles to the North West and Tregaron, 18 miles to the South.

Description
Forming part of the Welsh Government's Pwllpeirian land holdings, the land comprises two individual parcels of 6.00 hectares (17.34 acres) and 1.77 hectares (4.37 acres) respectively. Both are gently undulating in terrain and are provide good quality, well-fenced grassland.

The Borth to Devil's Bridge to Pontrhydfendegaid Trail crosses the westernmost part of the larger of the two fields. The land is accessed via a private track through the forestry leading from the B4574 to the North.

The land is designated as part of a Registered Landscapes of Outstanding and of Special Interest in Wales.
