Property Administrator
This is an exciting opportunity to join Cooke & Arkwright, the largest independent firm of Chartered Surveyors in Wales. Due to retirement we are looking to employ a Property Administrator in our Commercial Property Management department based in Windsor Place, Cardiff. This is a successful department managing a portfolio of properties in the office, retail and industrial sectors as well as residential apartment blocks across south and west Wales. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Property Management team and assist in the efficient running of the department.
Responsibilities will include:
- Typing, including audio, correspondence and various documents/templates;
- Diary and call management for the team;
- Acting as a point of contact for tenants and clients;
- Instructing contractors to undertake work and tracking progress;
- Dealing with queries from tenants, clients and other parties;
- Coordination of pre-sale information for residential properties;
- Ensure accurate digital filing of documents and correspondence;
- Requesting and collating information from tenants and other parties;
- Accurate record keeping;
- Producing small mail merges for the team, when required.
Required skills:
- The successful candidate should have good organisational and communication skills, both written and verbal
- A professional telephone manner and good customer service skills;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications;
- Willingness to learn new applications. Training will be given in the use of our property management software.
- Capable of working as part of a team with a flexible can-do attitude;
- Ability to work under pressure;
This is a full time permanent position based on 37 hours per week Monday to Friday.
Salary and package will be commensurate with experience.
