Thomas scoops top property prize

Roger Thomas scooped the top prize of Property Personality of the Year at the Insider Property Awards, held in the Mercure Holland House hotel in Cardiff. 

Roger is Chairman of Cooke & Arkwright and has been with the firm since 1972.  He took over as Chairman in 2001.  Asked about his predictions for the year ahead he said, “If we could stabilise the banking system, a lot of people here would like to do business.  We are going to turn the corner, the question is when.  You’ve just got to plug away.” Roger is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and Chairman of the Cardiff Commercial Agents’ Property Forum.  The award was sponsored by Hawtin.
