Established just two years ago by partners Alun Rosser, Paul Thomas and Matthew Lewis, the firm now employs well over 100 members of staff with a dedicated team of 24 lawyers at its offices in Cardiff and Bridgend.

Partner Matthew Lewis said that the firm is fast becoming a growing force, both nationally and regionally. “Our focus on meeting the needs and business objectives of our clients and introducers has been instrumental to winning new work,” he said. “We have become a recognised provider of an efficient, professional and streamlined conveyancing service. Our success is based on our understanding of the property market and ensuring that client care is our number one priority.”

Cooke & Arkwright, which acted for the landlord in the deal, undertook a complete refurbishment of all 5,000 sq ft at Waterloo House prior to letting the property to RTL. Surveyor Ben Bolton said that this, along with its convenient central location, excellent amenities and spacious, flexible office space, fulfilled RTL’s requirements for expansion in the city.

RTL offers residential conveyancing services both nationally and regionally and is also developing specialist expertise in commercial property conveyancing for SMEs and local businesses in Wales. Its client portfolio includes businesses in the retail, industrial and manufacturing sectors, offering a variety of services including acquisitions and sales, business leases, planning applications and commercial mortgages. These services are further supported by partner Phillip Griffith, whose expertise includes commercial and property disputes.
