Regus, the world’s largest provider of flexible workspace, has taken the 12th floor of Brunel House, the largest office building in Cardiff, to accommodate growth in the city. It will be the company’s fourth business centre in the capital. Cooke & Arkwright acted as joint agent on behalf of the building’s asset manager, Fairacre in the deal.
Over 70,000 sq ft has been let at Brunel House during the past 12 months and tenants include Admiral Insurance, Legal & General, Velindre NHS Trust and the Welsh Assembly Government.
Ben Bolton, Head of Office Agency at Cooke & Arkrwright said, “Brunel House has outperformed the market in the last year. Bringing Regus into the building provides an excellent platform for smaller tenants to locate here and grow. Only one floor of 14,000 sq ft now remains available, taking the occupancy rate to over 90%. Reinforced by recent success, our client, Fairacre, is now planning substantial upgrading works to the building to ensure that this momentum is maintained.”
Brunel House is a landmark office building of 235,000 sq ft with outstanding views across the city and the hills to the north of Cardiff. It is located immediately adjacent to Queen Street railway station and can accommodate occupier requirements from 3,000 sq ft to 14,000 sq ft on a single floor.
