Acting on behalf of Telereal, Cooke & Arkwright has sold one of the largest office blocks in Cardiff to the University of Glamorgan for a figure in the region of £10m.
The University plans to convert Enterprise House to create a new campus for a School of Creative and Cultural Industries, with around 40 courses involving theatre, drama and media and sound technology courses. It is part of a £35m investment by the university, which employs 20,000 people in Wales and plans to open the new campus in September 2007.
Roger Thomas, director at Cooke & Arkwright said, “The opportunity to acquire a three-acre site in the heart of the city centre was unique. The sale generated considerable interest.”
