Chairman Roger Thomas said, “We have had a very good year and have been very pleased to be associated with some of the biggest deals done in south Wales during that period. Despite the economic uncertainty at various times inthe last 12 months, we have handled some very good instructions from clients including British Telecom, Associated British Ports, Zurich Insurance, Revlon and Western Power to name a few. Although the transactions encompassed every element of property agency, we estimate the total value at over £80m.”

Colleague Ben Bolton added, “The market has not always been kind and some of the deals have required perseverance and patience. It was gratifying to be associated with three of the biggest transactions in Cardiff in the acquisition for Hugh James of Hodge House (45,000 sq ft), the sale of Eastern Business Park, the former Hyder complex at St Mellons to the Robert Hitchins Group (167,000 sq ft), and last month we clinched the leasing of 64,000 sq ft at Fusion Point in Cardiff Bay for Zurich. Bridgend, Newport and Nantgarw have also been aread in which we have been very active.”
