Welsh entrepreneur expands to Newport

Coffee#1 has opened a new outlet in Commercial Street, Newport, reinforcing the pledge of the chain’s owner, James Shapland, to open 20 new premises throughout South Wales and the South West within the next five years. This is the fifth in its chain so far and the first in Newport. A new shop in Abergavenny is also to be opened before Christmas.

Coffee#1 has opened a new outlet in Albany Road, Cardiff and is to open a further store later this year in Commercial Street, Newport. Acquisition of another South Wales store is said to be imminent.
