Eastern Business Park in St Mellons, which has been purchased in its entirety by Robert Hitchins Limited, has already secured two new lettings. James Hull Associates has taken a ground floor suite of 1,000 sq ft, alongside Manestream Ltd, an expanding Health & Safety consultancy.

Cosmetic giant, Revlon has taken 7,500 square feet at Brackla House, Bridgend, joining occupiers who include Berry Smith Solicitors and Bridgend County Borough Council in the remaining 12,000 square feet. This office will house the Revlon Technical Services, Finance, Management Information Systems (MIS), Customer Services and Supply Chain teams. Revlon’s head office is based in Highgate, London.

The former United Theological College overlooking the Pier and seafront at Aberystwyth has been purchased freehold for an undisclosed sum by an overseas Family Trust, which has committed itself to the upgrading and refurbishment of the property.

Nearly 4,500 square feet at Fairway Court, Treforest Industrial Estate has been acquired by the National Assembly for Wales for the Diabetic Retinopathy Screening Service for Wales (DRSSW). L & N Property Limited recently completed the 30,000 square feet contemporary office development on the northern fringe of the estate and reports that a further 18,000 square feet is under offer with keen interest being shown in the balance remaining.

New Opportunities Fund is the latest tenant to sign up at Number One Kingsway, the prestigious office building in the heart of Cardiff developed by the Co-operative Insurance Society. The Fund has taken 8,234 square feet on the top floor for fifteen years and joins influential tenants the Bank of Scotland, Price Waterhouse Coopers, Scottish Equitable and Inscape (part of Abbey National).
