Richard Knight

Richard has been with Cooke & Arkwright since 1967 joining the firm in the Mold Office in North Wales before returning to South Wales in 1970. A former director of the practice, Richard is responsible for private client work and for the management of such principal agricultural estates as the Plymouth Estates and Cawdor Estates. He acts in a Trustee or Director capacity for a number of clients’ estates.

Richard is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and is former chairman of the South Wales Branch of the Institution. His Public Appointments include that of a Justice of the Peace for the County of Mid Glamorgan, Chairman of the Youth Panel for the Bridgend Bench and Deputy Chairman. He is currently a member of the Council of the Country Landowners and Business Association. He is also a Director of the Woodard Corporation, the largest Independent Education Charity in the UK, and a Governor of the Cathedral School, Llandaff.
