Senior Surveyor

David joined Cooke & Arkwright’s Rating department in 2004 and provides advice on all rating issues to numerous public sector clients, including eight local authorities, two fire authorities, Gwent Police, Cardiff University and the Welsh Ambulance Trust. He also represents several national retailers including Greggs the Bakers, Rippleglen Ltd and Sports Direct.com.

David has successfully presented cases at Valuation Tribunal and also deals with instructions regarding the specialist area of council tax. He has experience in property valuation, landlord & tenant and residential land sales.

David was educated at the University of Wales, Cardiff where he gained an honours degree in Law. He subsequently achieved a Postgraduate Diploma in Surveying from the College of Estate Management. He is a member of the Rating Surveyors’ Association Committees in Wales and is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

David is a keen footballer and manages a team in the local Cardiff league.
